Labor Relations

The firm’s core practice area is labor relations and traditional labor law. Our firm represents both private and public sector labor groups in contract bargaining, contract enforcement, grievances, arbitrations, discipline meetings, investigatory interviews, labor-management meetings, union organizing, and political action work.

We also provide and strongly encourage union Board and Steward training on all aspects of labor and employment law. With the various array of complex and interweaving state and federal laws, it is crucial that Boards and Stewards are trained to recognize problems and solutions as they develop, and to know when to get our firm involved in resolving the issue. Your employer’s front-line HR managers are trained by management-side counsel; your union leaders should be too. You deserve a level playing field.

Our attorneys have worked with both private and public sector labor groups. We practice before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and the California Public Employment Relations Board (PERB). We firmly believe that contract enforcement is equally as important as contract formation. Our attorneys appreciate how a firm grasp of contract enforcement can be a valued asset in contract formation, and vice versa.
